THE NAME
A name that came from the coco de mer
The name COCODEMER comes from
the coco de mer of the Seychelles.
The tree bears the largest seed in the plant kingdom,
and it gave the brand not only its name
but the starting point of our early ingredient research.

FROM CUSTOMIZED TO SKIN CODE
We read the skin,
then made it differently.
COCODEMER started as a custom cosmetics service:
we measured skin and compounded to those differences,
one customer at a time.
That work led to 17 finished products
for everyday use alongside the compounded ones,
and later, through Skin Code Solution,
the same reading was carried outside the store.

L-CODEMAR ELIXIR™, drawn from the coco de mer seed,
is a proprietary COCODEMER material
developed while we ran the custom cosmetics service.
It was used in the finished lineup of that period,
and the ingredient and formulation records are still kept.
L-CODEMAR ELIXIR™ is not used in
Aqua Quick Bubble Mask, the product currently on sale.
