We read the skin,
and made what matched it.
ARCHIVECOCODEMER began by measuring skin
and compounding a product for each customer.
That work led to 17 finished products,
and later to Skin Code, an online version of the same reading.
This page holds the products and prescriptions
left from that work,
and the record of how COCODEMER has read skin.
HERITAGE IN NUMBERS
01 · CUSTOMIZED
It started with
one person’s skin.
ARCHIVE
We did not pick the product first.
A skin analyser in the store photographed the face and returned
over two hundred readings — redness on the forehead, oil on the nose,
pigment under the eyes and more.
After reading the skin that day
we compounded the serum and cream for that customer.
Compounding worked from four criteria for the serum
and three for the cream,
and changed with the state of the skin.
The product itself
came out different for each customer.
On a return visit a month later
we measured the skin again.
If the skin had changed,
we did not repeat the earlier formula.
We compounded again
for the skin in front of us.
The four serum and three cream figures are compounding criteria, not a product count.
The per-customer compounding service is no longer offered.

From compounding
to everyday skincare.
So they could be used alongside the compounded products,
we also developed 17 finished products.
Cleansing and masks,
skincare,
hand and body,
sun care —
built as one routine.
They could be bought without a skin measurement,
but they were built
on the ingredients and formulation work
used in the custom cosmetics service.

The same reading,
outside the store.
So that people who could not visit a store
could still read their own skin the same way,
we built Skin Code Solution.

- Sensitive / Resistant
- Pigmented / Non-pigmented
- Wrinkle / Elasticity
The four axes combine into
sixteen skin types.
After an online skin test identified the type,
a serum was compounded to that type’s prescription
and shipped to the customer.
WHAT WE CARRY FORWARD
The work became
the standard.
We still read the skin first
and separate out what it needs before making a product.
